  4. samba:    Samba is a Unix based SMB file and print server.  This allows a Unix
  5. samba:    host to act as a file and print server for SMB clients.  This includes
  6. samba:    Lan-Manager compatible clients such as LanManager for DOS, Windows95,
  7. samba:    Windows NT, OS/2, Pathworks and many more.  If you have any PCs 
  8. samba:    running SMB clients, such as a PC running Windows95, then you can 
  9. samba:    mount file space or printers from a Linux host, so that directories,
  10. samba:    files and printers on the Linux host are available on the Windows PC.

  13. tin:      The 'tin' news reader. (pre-1.4 release 980226)

  15. tin:      Tin is a full-screen, easy-to-use Netnews reader.  It can read news
  16. tin:      locally (i.e. /var/spool/news) or remotely (rtin or tin -r option)
  17. tin:      via a NNTP (Network News Transport Protocol) server.  It will
  18. tin:      automatically utilize NOV (news overview) style index files if
  19. tin:      available locally or via the nntp xover command.
